As a founding
stakeholder and supporter of the
Kansas
City Area Life Sciences Institute (KCALSI) and its
initiatives, UMKC has forged new partnerships
with community institutions and strengthened
existing relationships to expand basic and
applied research capacity. The vast majority of
UMKC's faculty in the life and health sciences
have formal affiliations or joint appointments
with a partner institution.
