-
FEI/Philips XL30 Field-Emission Environmental SEM - can be used
for almost any kind of specimen:
1. Wet specimens: humidity in the specimen chamber can be as
high as 100%, making it possible to observe live cells,
dissolving and drying processes, etc. 2. Non-conductive
specimens without coating can be observed in "wet" mode with
high resolution imaging and EDS capabilities for elemental
analysis. 3. Non-conductive beam-sensitive specimens can be
observed in low voltage mode, which is especially effective in
field-emission SEMs. 4. Conductive samples and samples with
conductive coating.
-
Philips SEM 515 - is a conventional SEM and is used for conductive
and coated samples when needed magnification is below 10,000.
-
Philips CM12 STEM - is a high quality TEM with STEM capabilities
and provides TEM and STEM imaging, diffraction, X-ray
microanalysis and digital image capture in STEM mode
-
All microscopes are equipped with new EDS systems PGT Imix-PC and
digital Prism detectors with ultra-thin windows that are capable
of qualitative and quantitative composition analysis of elements
from B to U, X-ray maps and profiles collection, high quality
image capturing (up to 4k x 4k), image editing and analysis, etc.
